I have tried my level best so that Pappu and Pinky cartoons are original. Most of the characters are based on my friends and acquaintances. Few strips are based on stories I have heard from my friends, or based on request from my friends and readers. Wherever I have borrowed an idea or have made any reference, I have duly acknowledged it.

ReplyDeleteI would not say inspired, but sure it has a lot of lines in it to draw a cartoon on :). Actually I had decided to put some other name for the character pappu first. But one of my friends saw this picture and commented that "Pappu" was cute. Then I let his name be the same.
